Some of the most powerful natural remedies I work with are called Isopathic remedies. Dr. Gunther Enderlin spent 60 years analyzing human blood and the life cycle of a protein in it he named the endobiont. He defined this protein as the smallest living unit within the human body. He observed that if the body pH became too acidic that the body would compensate and drive the blood pH a little bit excessively alkaline. The blood not wanting to go acidic would hold on to alkaline molecules and protect itself from the excess acidity coming into the blood from the excessive acidity in the body. The small change in blood pH would initiate an upward development of the benign protein in the blood into pre-bacterial forms. This bacterial development was an indicator of disease present in the body many times long before a diagnosis could be made.

Dr. Enderlin then went on to develop a line of remedies that would interact with the pathogenic forms of these bacterial forms and reduce them back down into harmless proteins. These remedies were then called Isopathic remedies.

Among these remedies there are antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal formulas that work on vastly different principles than traditional antimicrobials. These remedies are classified as immunometabolic remedies. These are made from specific metabolic products derived from cultures of certain fungi and bacteria. Substances produced by those microbes are collected, and then made into a homeopathic dilution. The resulting medicine is used to improve regulation of several aspects of immune function, reduce inflammation, decongest tissues and provide other benefits.

The metabolic products collected from these microbes have too small of a molecular weight to function as antigens. Thus, they cannot induce a B lymphocyte response, and cannot participate in an allergic reaction. SanPharma makes three different medicines using fungi in the Penicillium group. This is not penicillic acid so there is no chance of a penicillin allergy response from taking SanPharma products. The remedies are Notatum (from Penicillium notatum), Quentans (from Penicillium frequentans) and Roqueforti (from Penicillium Roquefort). A combination of Notatum and Quentans is designed to deal with both the viral and bacterial elements of infections. Most infections are a mixture of viral and bacterial so using a combination can prove to be extremely effective in helping you overcome a cold, sinus, lung, prostate or bladder infection. I have not mentioned this remedy yet but it is called Mucor. Mucor has been very effective and improving circulation in the body. It also seems to induce some degree of relaxation as well.
