Nano-Cal: the Portable Water "Alkalizer""Now we depart from health in just the proportion to which we have allowed our alkalies to be dissipated by introduction of acid]forming food in too great amount... It may seem strange to say that all disease is the same thing, no matter what its myriad modes of expression, but it is verily so." William Howard Hay, M.D. 1933 "A New Health Era"1 While the quote is seventy years old, its message is now being validated by modem science. Acidity and alkalinity do play a dominant role in our health and longevity. The following is a primer on Nano]Cal HomeostasisAll disease is caused by one or more of five factors interacting to disrupt cellular function.
The impact of the primary four factors is, on a population percentile basis, slight... compared to the ravages of diet imbalance on health and homeostasis. Homeostasis is the coordination, through hormones, of all the organs, enzymes, and cellular activity to resolve one vital issue: the safeguarding of blood at an exact narrow pH range. Should this pH vary much in either direction: acidic or alkaline, the body will die. Therefore, neutral ± blood pH balance is the critical product of all activity in the body. Basic Rules of the Hay DietThe Hay Diet, also known as 'food combining', consists of five basic rules:
A malfunction of any organ precipitates a sequence of events in the body to resolve the drop or increase in blood pH. Genetic malfunctions, environmental onslaughts, increased or repeated stress all contribute to the body reacting to solve the potential drop in pH of blood. Diet directly impacts blood pH, and diet is the one thing over which we have some measure of control. What is pH (potential Hydrogen)?pH is the amount of bio]available oxygen versus the amount of hydrogen or oxidizing factors present in a fluid. It is the measure of alkalinity and acidity. Pool owners are familiar with pH balance. If pool water goes above or below a certain level; aerobic (oxygen rich) or anaerobic (oxygen deprived) elements grow out of control. Gardeners are equally aware of the damages of a poorly managed pH soil and its effect on plant growth. pH could be considered the simplest measure of health of any organic system. Internal organs use a complex system of balancing acids and alkalies to process food and liquids in order to extract the necessary elements for the sustenance of life. This is an important distinction; these organs (liver and stomach) extract only the necessary minerals, proteins and fats required at that moment. The remainder of the food and liquid gets pushed down in the intestine to be processed at a later date or when the body produces the acids to process for evacuation, and, in cases of obesity; it does not ever find the time or the acids. Coincidentally; the majority of heart attacks occur at 2AM, which gives one a rough idea of the length of time to process a dinner of ingested dense protein such as steak. Improper or sluggish processing of the superfluous in our diet is at the source of many health problems as it spawns the anaerobic environment in which disease can thrive. For the now overloaded and acidic enzyme substrate precipitates a gradual shut down of enzymes, which in a dwindling spiral, engenders further organ malfunction much as a domino effect. Since pH and its associated electrical measure of electrical potential (Oxygen Reduction Potential or ORP) are used to measure blood pH, one can then quantify the health of an organic system by measuring its pH at the inflow and conversely at the out flow. This reading would give us an idea of the homeostasis condition of that system as it would give us insights to the efficacy of glands, enzymes and cells at processing fuel. Energy extraction from food is a process involving acids and alkalies, it is critical that the system designed to process these fuels is in good shape or the process of homeostasis will be compromised and it will seek, through its hormonal network, a fix]it solution using available resources. The short term remedy invariably ends up becoming a problem in time. For example: Should the digestive system not produce enough mucous due to (in this case), dehydration this will reflect in less hydrochloric acid production. There is now less stomach acid and the food is passed onto an overburdened small intestine, pancreas and gall bladder. The lining of both the small and large intestine become distended and on down the line problems multiply. In the case of inability to process calcium or more precisely extract the key calcium ion from food, homeostasis will rob from the bone to dump into the blood. This activity leads to a host of problems if the ability to procure the calcium ion from food source is not remedied. Herein lays the root cause of many of the pandemics plaguing modern man: Heart disease, diabetes, obesity, arthritis, osteoporosis, certain cancers to say nothing of gastrointestinal problems. There are many more metals and minerals than calcium, but calcium is the most prevalent metal in our body and therefore its level at skeletal, cellular and plasma holds special prominence in homeostasis. The body has even assigned a quatrain of glands around the neck area called the parathyroid and its hormone PTH (a polypeptide of 84 amino acids.) to monitor very precisely calcium levels in the blood and immediately draw from the skeletal the calcium ion required to remedy blood pH imbalances. Calcium is the main element used by the body to remedy blood pH problems. This leads us to Nano]Cal and its possible benefits on homeostasis. What is Nano]Cal?Calcium is a highly reactive metal. This means it reacts and creates a salt upon contact with any element from the opposing or right side of the table of elements almost instantly. In fact there are but a few kilos of the pure metal anywhere on this planet. The formed salt is now bound to an organic element such as carbon to form the most prevalent form of calcium: Calcium Carbonate. There are hundreds of variations and permutations in the Calcium salt group; however the one that appears to show promise is the Calcium associated with Oxygen: CaO. When CaO comes into contact with H2O, it creates a covalent reaction. This reaction releases a tremendous amount of potential energy. It creates a negative reading on an ORP meter; the pH skyrockets from any position to high alkaline within a few seconds. Coral Calcium does not do this.
Note: a difference of 1 point on the pH scale is algorithmic (10*10). This means that Nano]Cal is 100 times more active than Coral Calcium. Nano]Cal is the purest and most active form of Calcium available. This assertion defies most conventional approaches to calcium and the discovery of the homeopathic value of one of the most reactive and caustic metals is of interest. Nano]Cal contains 500,000 ppm versus 28,000 ppm (app) for coral calcium (Carbonate). It is heavy metal free (important with Calcium as most of the Ca on the market contains unsafe amounts of lead). and is 10% blended with 1 part Magnesium Carbonate and 1 part Calcium Gluconate as a buffer. The average dose is 3mgs of CaO and 150mg of Ca Gluconate and 175 mg of Magnesium Carbonate. Since it is "pre]digested", Nano]Cal does not rely on the body's ability to dissociate the needed calcium ion from its binder. Its absorbability factor is in the high 80% not ±34% as coral or calcium citrate. This again is a critical difference; calcium, as not fully digested, is leading to speculation, in some scientific circles, that increased calcium salt intake in the past 50 years itself might have played a role in the global rise of incidences of diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis and heart disease. The minute amount of specifically configured CaO releases (dissociation) Calcium ions (Ca) and concurrently creates a huge amount of bio]available oxygen (OH) The key discovery beyond porosity is dosage. Minute amounts of Ca is now required as the ionic content is so high. In excess, as with most things, too much is caustic. Nano]Cal is therefore a high pH ionic calcium alkaline donor. A high pH intake might be part of the solution in repairing the acidic substrate thus revitalizing dormant enzymes. What result can one observe? We have been using Nano]Cal now for 2 years in the US and 10 years in Japan in a homeopathic and doctor supervised setting. There have been no clinical tests to support our anecdotal claims and none are made as a result. The FDA has not approved of this remedy; however some hospitals have been using an inferior variant of this (Ca hydroxide) in emergency rooms for at least three hundred years in the treatment of dire gastro]intestinal problems. We have followed cases among the hundreds of people who have safely and are still ingesting Nano]Cal with overall positive result. As of this writing, there seems to be no contraindications. We would hasten to add that one should consult with a physician if on calcium channel blocker drugs. Nano]Cal taken in the prescribed dosage of twice daily should be safe for all ages and pregnant women as well. As always, if one notices discomfort with the use of this product: Stop taking it and wait a couple of days before restarting the program. In a very few cases, and usually because of taking more than the recommended amount, we have had reports of a day of diarrhea. This has not recurred on the second day. You must ensure at least 400 i.u. of Vitamin D daily whether from your daily vitamin or from cod liver oil. We have noted the following:
Note: Calcium balance in and out of these cells is directly related to the function of insulin control. Active Vitamin D, a hormone, is also critical in insulin secretion. And while dissolving blood sugar to lower its level by insulin injection is an effective and life saving remedy, one must also be aware of this critical plasma Calcium and Vitamin D connection as a potential for long term rehabilitation. Nano]Cal should be regarded as a portable water alkalizer. It should be used at least twice daily pre]meal and one will start noticing subtle yet dramatic shifts in the body's overall health within 30]60 days. Two daily doses satisfy the daily requirements for Calcium intake. It is possible that Nano]Cal could reverse the ever dwindling domino effect and restore overall health to our system. Five case histories:1. I broke my arm 8 months ago. At the point of fracture there was a Pinch gap. The Doctor gave the wound 8 weeks to heal and questioned whether the gap would ever heal fully. I am pleased to report that taking Nanocal (I put three little spoonfuls in a liter 1/2 and drink all throughout the day), my arm has healed completely and I cannot tell where the fracture was. I am very pleased with Nanocal and my wife now takes it daily as well and has noticed an increase in overall health. I am 77 and feel great. Howard Bugby California2. I would like to make a testimonial to the efficacy of Nanocal in my daily life. Since starting the Nanocal program, I have found that I cannot live without.
In regards to the cream, I have found it helped my girlfriend and her mother in many beauty areas. I love the product and highly recommend its use to anyone. Gary James Brennan age 58 Los Angeles3. I have found Nano]Cal to be of great help in treating my rheumatoid arthritis. It has made it possible for me to have movement in my hands and legs. I highly recommend it as part of an overall strategy to combat this disease. Larry Smith Los Angeles4. When I first started Nano]Cal, I had a bad cough that kept everyone in the house awake all night. I had so many aches and pains I thought I had osteoporosis and arthritis combined. After my first drink of a small amount of Nanocal in a glass of water, I felt completely different. I have continued to take Nano]cal for 3 months now. My friends and family cannot believe the difference. I've lost weight, I feel cheerful, I sleep soundly, I don't cough and if there is the slightest ache or pain, it's gone after a small drink of Nano]Cal and water. I take it twice a day before breakfast and before going to bed. I recommend it! Renee Duke Florida Age 775. I have been using Nano]Cal for approximately one year. I am a Type 2 Diabetic. Nano]Cal controlled my sugar level in about two weeks. This product is superior to any other in keeping my sugar level low and in control. I no longer have sore feet or neuropathy. Once I drink this product I have a strong sense of well being. This product must be tried. Ron H. Bismarck NDCould diet attack bones? It's a beef about meat.By Douglas Fox U.S. News Online October, 30 2000 Few crises of old age are as widely feared as a broken hip. A calcium]poor diet, lack of exercise, and, in older women, loss of estrogen can all contribute to osteoporosis, which weakens bones. But those factors don't fully explain the 350,000 hip fractures each year in the United States, researchers say. They suspect a surprising new culprit: Americans may be washing away their bones in a tide of acid, made as their bodies metabolize protein]rich foods like meat and cheese. Endocrinologist Deborah Sellmeyer of the University of California]San Francisco (UCSF) will publish some of the latest evidence early next year. She divided more than 9,000 women 65 and older into five groups according to the overall acid load of their diet and found that women in the most acidic group suffered hip fractures 3.7 times more often than those in the least acidic group during the study's seven]year period. It's too early to be sure that a diet rich in meat and cheese is bad for your bones, says Robert Heaney, an endocrinologist at Creighton University in Omaha, although he calls it "an interesting and provocative hypothesis." But clinicians including Uriel Barzel of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y., already think that people worried about osteoporosis should replace some of their acid]producing animal foods with fruits and vegetables. "Once you take estrogen out of the picture for women," says Barzel, "I think second in importance is dietary acid." Looting the bones. Our kidneys ordinarily regulate the acidity of our blood by dumping excess acid in the urine, but the typical, protein]rich American diet overloads them. Protein contains sulfur, which our livers turn into sulfuric acid. The body has to neutralize some of it]by looting the bones. They're composed primarily of calcium phosphate and calcium carbonate, which are excellent bases for neutralizing acids. "An acidic environment actually stimulates cells called osteoclasts, which resorb bone mineral," explains David Bushinsky, a nephrologist at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Over many years, this process could weaken the bones. Calcium]rich foods can help the body make up for some of the loss, but a growing number of doctors think fruits and vegetables can also help, because they produce acid]neutralizing bases. Anthony Sebastian of UCSF recently surveyed diet and hip fracture rates in 33 countries. He found "an absolutely phenomenal correlation," he says: Differences in the ratio of plant to animal food accounted for 70 percent of the variation in fracture rates. Don't just load up on rice and pasta, though; grains actually generate a fair amount of acid. Instead, says Sebastian, focus on fruits and vegetables that are rich in potassium, such as bananas, apricots, and spinach. Potassium generally goes with base]producing compounds, he explains. Oranges and tomatoes are fine; you may think of them as acidic, but they come out far on the basic side once metabolized. And what about dairy foods, with their high calcium content? There, researchers are in a bind. While milk and yogurt are almost neutral, hard cheeses are among the most acid]producing foods. "We advise increased dairy intake for women," says Sellmeyer. "The question is, are we giving them extra calcium but potentially also giving them extra acid? I think it's something we need to look into. US News & World Report Inc. All rights reserved. |
